Robert's Background
Dr. Robert D. Cochran once served as a minister to youth, a pastor of varied churches, a Baptist missionary in both East and West Europe, and an associational employee. He went in 1995 to the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area to serve the D.C. Baptist Convention (DCBC).
With the DCBC he worked in various staff positions alongside existing churches and new congregations in the Convention. Robert retired in 2020 as Executive Director/Minister of the DCBC. His continues ministry in service with the American Baptist Foundation as well as with several other Baptist institutions by developing partnerships with and soliciting resources from varied foundations.
