Ken's Background

Ken, originally from Memphis, Tennessee, is a long-time member of First Baptist of Washington, DC, with service in a variety of church and DC Baptist Convention positions.

He has a B.A. from Rhodes College in Memphis, a law degree from Harvard University and a Master of Divinity from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington. His legal practice included emphasis in housing and community development financing and stints with the US Departments of Housing and Urban Development and Treasury. He also worked for over ten years as Senior Housing Advisor for SOME (So Others Might Eat), an interfaith homeless services provider in the District of Columbia, and is currently on their Board of Directors.

Ken Joined the ABF Board in 2019.
